"I love rewearing my favourite items. Choosing high-quality materials means I can wear them for longer."

- Hollie Mercedes Peters, founder CLÒIMH

CLÒIMH means wool.

By limiting the number of materials we use, we can concentrate on sourcing and selecting only the highest quality. For our debut Winter 2024 collection, we focus on only three key materials.

-

1. 100% Superfine Lamb's Wool
This yarn is used across our Essential Collection and is woollen spun in Scotland, resulting in a uniquely soft and luxurious feel.
The yarn supplier has over 150 years of expertise in producing the highest quality materials for fashion houses and premium manufacturers worldwide, using methods that respect their heritage.
During the manufacturing process, the yarn undergoes rigorous quality control with inspections at every stage. The raw fibre is dyed before spinning, a gentle process that results in superior colour and hand feel. Environmentally friendly dyes are used, allowing the water to be returned to its source and reused.
2. 100% Virgin Wool
This yarn is used across our Aran knitted products as part of the Winter 2024 Seasonal Collection. Virgin wool is not only soft but also highly durable. It is breathable and temperature-regulating, making products exceptionally comfortable to wear.
The yarn is spun in Italy by a manufacturer with over 60 years of experience. This manufacturer operates as a zero-impact company, with a production chain that is predominantly powered by sustainable energy
sources.
3. 51% Mohair, 49% Wool
Produced by the Italian manufacturer mentioned above, this yarn features a prominent Mohair composition. Mohair is an exceptionally luxurious fibre that is both lightweight and soft, giving our hats a premium touch.
Although this yarn is blended, it is still 100% natural fibres, unlike more inexpensive alternatives.

Conscious Choices

All of our products are made from natural fibres, with 88% of our Winter 2024 collection crafted from mono-material yarns.

Mono-Material Products – Singular and Circular
If you check the label on the items you own, there is a good chance that its made from a blend of different fibres — such as wool and polyamide. This blending is often done to reduce production costs.
One of the biggest challenges in textile recycling is finding ways to separate these blended fibres so that each fibre can be recycled through its respective system.
Our mono-material products simplify the recycling process, allowing for easier reintegration into the production cycle at the end of their life, helping to promote a circular fashion economy.
100% Natural and Biodegradable
Wool is a natural, renewable, and biodegradable resource, making it a more sustainable choice. It decomposes quickly at the end of its life, returning nutrients to the soil without releasing plastic microfibres, unlike synthetic materials.
CLÒIMH Signature Branded Label
Our signature branded label, found on most products in our collection, is created from 100% recycled materials, reinforcing our brand's commitment to conscious choices.
CLÒIMH labelling is created by our Denmark-based partner, who is committed to designing with simplicity, quality, and sustainability in mind.
